The Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Proposed Marine Container
Terminal at the Charleston Naval Complex is available for public review and
comment. The document and its appendices can viewed at several locations within
the project study area (see list below), or can be downloaded from the
project website (click
here website).
The public is invited to review the Final EIS and participate in the 30-day
comment period that ends January 16, 2007. Comments will be considered in the
development of the Record of Decision (ROD) on the permit application.
The Corps encourages the public to submit comments on the Final EIS by using one
of the three methods listed below.
