On November 1, 2005, approximately two weeks after the distribution of the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District (Corps) will be hosting an informal meeting with the public at Sterett Hall from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to “guide” the public through the draft EIS document and help the public understand its organization. At the beginning of each hour, starting at 4:00 p.m., a short overview of the draft EIS will be presented followed by a Question and Answer Session during which attendees may ask questions related to the EIS process and the document’s organization. Several people central to the development of the EIS will be available to answer questions.
